First Night Talbot, Inc. is thrilled to announce the 30th annual First Night Talbot, a community-wide celebration set to usher in the new year with a wide variety of artistic performances, family-friendly activities, and a festive, alcohol free atmosphere that promises to make this New Year’s Eve fun for everyone. Admission is free to all events. Buttons for participants are available for free at the Easton Visitor’s Center, 11 S. Harrison Street, Easton, MD. Hours of the center are 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM, M-F, 10 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday.
The world-famous drop of the eight-foot wide Maryland Blue Crab sculpture will occur at 9:00 PM and Midnight. The Maryland Crab Drop was the brainchild and creation of Rich and Suzanne Hood and is a crowd favorite.
Scheduled for December 31, 2023, First Night Talbot aims to bring together residents and visitors alike in a celebration of creativity and community spirit. The event will take place at three venues on Harrison Street as follows: Town Hall, the Waterfowl Building and the Avalon Theatre.
