On Saturday, September 30 from 2:30 PM, the Maryland Chapter of Moms Demand Action, part of Everytown for Gun Safety’s grassroots network will host a special gathering of gun violence survivors and community members to bring hope and healing to the Cambridge community that has experienced escalating rates of gun violence so far this year.
“A Day of Hope & Healing for Cambridge” will bring together gun violence survivors from across the state to support communities affected by gun violence. The event will include musical performances, crafts and activities, mechanisms for honoring loved ones taken by gun violence, food and refreshments, and a short speaking program.
