The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum celebrates the return of Splendor after a three-year hiatus. This fundraising event supports the Museum’s vision of preserving and sharing the history, traditions, heritage, and culture of Tilghman Island.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Hall at 5979 Tilghman Island Road. This popular event has a reputation for Eastern Shore hospitality with a raw bar of oysters freshly shucked by local watermen, fine wines, craft beer, and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants.
Live and silent auctions will be held, featuring:
- Paintings, photographs, unique woodwork, jewelry, and other artwork
- Chartered fishing trips and sunset cruises on the Chesapeake
- Overnight packages and gift certificates to hotels and restaurants.
Tickets are $40 per person and are available at Two If By Sea café and Fairbank Tackle, or by contacting the Museum at [email protected].
