Homeschool students and their chaperones are invited to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md., for a Homeschool Day on Thursday, April 14. Programs will be held at 10:30am and 1pm, with individual homeschool families and cooperative groups invited to participate.
Groups should select either a morning or afternoon program focused on the history, culture, and environment of the Chesapeake Bay region. This season, homeschoolers will participate in the Chesapeake’s Best Crab Cakes Immersive Tour to learn about Chesapeake geography, biology, and economics by following the blue crab on its journey from the brackish Bay to our picnic tables.
The cost for Homeschool Day is $5 per registered participant. Accompanying younger siblings ages 5 and under are free. All participants must register in advance at bit.ly/SpringHomeschoolDay.
