Chesapeake Forum is pleased to announce the addition of Doug Holly to its Board of Directors. Holly, who recently moved to Easton, brings over 40 years of business and operational experience to the Chesapeake Forum, most recently as the entrepreneur-in-residence at the Maryland Innovation Center a startup incubator in Columbia, MD. His focus is on helping small to medium size companies grow successfully – skills he plans to put to use at Chesapeake Forum.
Holly has been a lifelong learner. His parents always encouraged and challenged him to consider new ideas. His dad began taking extension courses at Bard College after he retired. “We would enjoy discussing the insights and ideas raised, and after attending several Chesapeake Forum programs I saw they were of the same high caliber”. “My folks also stressed the importance of contributing to the community so getting involved as a volunteer with the Chesapeake Forum seemed like a perfect fit”.
Chesapeake Forum Board President Lynn Randle says Holly will be a strong addition to the board, helping with operational strategies as the organization continues to grow and expands. “We are delighted to welcome Doug to our dynamic board and look forward to taking advantage of his business expertise,” she said.
