As Cambridge comes out of the COVID years, the community is once again returning to its long-term objective to make its downtown the most vibrant on the Eastern Shore. Before the pandemic, Cambridge’s main street was hitting those high marks. So the challenge was to not only catch from those lost years but think out of the box to reach more potential visitors to the town.
That particularly massive assignment is found in Margaret Knudsen’s portfolio as Cambridge Main Street’s executive director.
The Spy’s Julian Jackson stopped by the other day to check in with Margaret and hear again why the Main Street program is so vital for her community.
