Jenna Linthicum, the 2022 Dorchester Chamber Foundation McDonald’s Scholar, stopped by to visit with the team at McDonalds as she prepared to head off to the University of Maryland last week. Jenna graduated from North Dorchester High School this past spring. She is attending the University of Maryland College Park starting this fall where she will study medicine and plans to have a career in health care as a physician or nurse practitioner.
In addition to being an outstanding student Jenna was very active in high school. She played volleyball, softball and track and field. She was in the National Honor Society, the Art Honor Society, Math Honor Society and Technical Honor Society. She was also active outside of school with blood drives, highway cleanups, being an IRONMAN volunteer, and working with nursing home patients.
Kelli Meoli, Owner, and Jayln Guy, StoreManager, offered Jenna congratulations on the well-deserved scholarship and wished her well on the next chapter of her career. Jenna thanked Kelli and the Meoli Companies for helping her to reach her goals with the financial support.
