The Friends of the Dorchester County Public Library announce the resumption of the Book Sales at the Library. The first sale will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. This first sale of 2021 will be held in conjunction with the kick-off of the Library’s Summer Reading Program 2021.
The June 22nd sale will be held in the parking lot at the corner of Spring and Gay Streets in Cambridge MD. There will be books galore with none more than one dollar and all paperbacks are only $.25. Titles range from fiction and non-fiction, history, art, children’s books, crafts, cooking, all your favorite authors and more!
Second Saturday Book Sales start up on Saturday July 10, 2021 and will be held from 9a.m. to 1p.m. The Saturday sales will be inside on the first floor of the Library in the Book Cellar and the Meeting Room as well as the lower level lobby. There are literally thousands of books to browse and buy!
We are so excited to welcome our friends back to the Library Book Sales. Proceeds from the Sales support the Library in many ways – purchasing new equipment, books, reference material and more.
