The Country School Board of Trustees announced that Head of School Jay Parker has resigned, effective August 10, 2026. Board President Elizabeth Woody thanked Parker for his contributions to the school community and wished him well.
Emily Beck has been appointed Acting Head of School and will work with the Board’s Executive Committee and administrative team as the school year begins. The Board will also conduct a search for an interim head of school.
