Cambridge Commissioners Appoint New Board and Commission Members

The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce the appointments of several community members to various boards and commissions in the City.

Appointed members of the newly created Mayor’s Accessibility Committee are Francine Byas, Jeanne Elliott, and Ilia Johnson, with terms through March 2027, and Holly Gilpin, Adrian Holmes, and Ericca Stanley-Jones, with terms through March 2028.

New members of the Board of Appeals are Barbara Knepp, Saibal Sen, and alternate Tyler Sears, all appointed through April 2028.

Newly appointed members of the Ethics Commission are Crystal Downes, Kevin Stangl, and alternate Melanie Moser. They are appointed through Sept. 2029.

New members of the Historic Preservation Commission are Joel Leifer and alternate Scott Hawk. Bronte Lake has been reappointed to the Commission. All will serve through August 2028.

The City thanks all residents who applied for positions. As City Manager Glenn Steckman noted, “Your enthusiasm and commitment to volunteerism helps to improve our city.”
