The biggest event of the year for the Richardson Maritime Museum happens Saturday, October 4 in Cambridge, from 1 to 5 p.m. It’s RMM’s Annual Boatyard Bash, a celebration of Chesapeake Bay maritime heritage.

Attendees can enjoy fresh oysters, listen to live music, explore antique and classic boats, shop with local artisans and vendors, try some hands-on activities, participate in a silent auction, and connect with nonprofit partners “making waves” in the community.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Adults are $25 (includes one beer), teens age 13-20 are $10, and kids 12 and under get in free. Parking at 103 Hayward Street is also free. The proceeds support the museum, preserving maritime history and hands-on skills for future generations.
