This fall, Improv Easton invites community members to leap into creativity, laughter, and connection with its Intro to Improv Workshop, a six-week series designed especially for beginners. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to play, experiment, and say “yes, and…”
From September 16 through October 21, 2025, participants will gather every Tuesday evening from 7:30–9:00 p.m. in Easton, MD, for a supportive and high-energy introduction to the art of improv. Through fun games and engaging exercises, Improv Easton’s experienced instructors will guide participants in developing core improv skills such as listening, collaboration, and thinking on their feet.
“Improv isn’t just about being funny on stage,” says Howard Townsend, lead instructor for the Intro workshop. “It’s about building confidence, learning to adapt, and thinking creatively. These are skills that can translate to everyday life—in conversations, at work, and in the community.”
The workshop also offers a chance to meet new people, strengthen communication skills, and enjoy laugh-out-loud fun in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
