The General Perry Benson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently met to celebrate women in the Easton area with their yearly service activity. This year the chapter met to fill 100 personal care or Blessing Bags for the Mid Shore Council on Family Violence in Easton for their clients. Items for the colorful bags included lotions, socks, pens and notebooks, inspirational sayings, silicone bracelets, happy stickers and a little stone heart. Our Regent and Vice Regent delivered the bags to the Council who were very appreciative of the DAR support.
