The three-story brick building at the corner of Poplar and Gay Streets was put up at the turn of the 20th century. At some point, a cupola above the building was removed, and the structure was remodeled to a pseudo-Georgian style. It once housed the Harlequin clothing shop and Brightwell Photography, and more recently Maiden Maryland. The Dive Club now occupies the space.
