Wine of the Week: Sera Luce and Frico Frizzante

Ciao Tutti!

This weekend we will kick off the Memorial Day holiday with a special event on Friday by combining our wine tasting with a book signing with Steve Lingeman, author of “Talbot People, Stories and Photographs”.

In addition to the copies for sale at $40, we have free copies of Steve’s book to give away to the first 27 customers who buy two bottles (total retail value up to $40), from Piazza’s collection, including the boxed wine we are tasting over the holiday weekend.  On Friday my regular “office hours” coincide with the book signing where l will offer tastings of our popular canned sparkling wines, Sera Luce and Frico Frizzante.

Canned sparkling wines are all the rage – Sera Luce and Frico Frizzante are two of our faves that won’t disappoint!

An Aperol Spritz has always been one of my fave cocktails but getting the right proportion of Aperol and Prosecco for a single serving may not always work out. The creator of Sera Luce felt the same and he experimented in his garage until he found the right formula. He packaged his creation in four 250 ml cans in a stylish box for $17.75. Now it is so easy to pour my chilled can of Sera Luce over ice in a martini glass, sit back and chill!

Piazza’s most popular white wine is Frico Bianco. Its cousin Frico Frizzante (12.95)  has all the same flavors of green apple, pear, and melon and is also so refreshing. Both Sera Luce and Frico Frizzante are perfect for an afternoon by the pool, in a boat or on the beach!

Piazza is well stocked with our fine array of sparkling wines, including several cases of Tintero Rosato, for your Memorial Day celebration. Lastly, if you need a non-alcoholic option, try our Phony Negroni.

If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option, our Phony Negroni is a must-try!

We hope you can join us on Friday from noon to 5:45 and on Saturday from noon to 4:45 to taste Sera Luce and Frico Frizzante.

Cin Cin!

Jenn
