March 15, 2024, 6pm – St. Patrick’s Day Dinner

March 19, 2024, 5:30pm – Speaker Karen Footner, ‘Rivers of the Eastern Shore’

Footner is the granddaughter of the author and provides a spirited tribute to the people and rivers that made the Eastern Shore geographically and culturally distinctive. FREE. Author Lynn Sanchez talks about her new book ‘Behind the Brussels Sprouts’. It is a highly entertaining and original “What If” book full of useful advice on how to avoid the anxiety and pitfalls of parenting served up in a hilarious telling of the author’s own journey through parenthood. Join us to explore the ongoing challenges of flooding, high tides, and erosion in Oxford. Through a three-part interactive series, we will look at the impacts of sea level rise in Oxford and possible steps to arrest its most devastating impacts on our community.  We encourage participation at all three sessions since they build on each other, but please join us for all you can attend.
