Yesterday, the Spy’s Dave Wheelan, and WHCP Community Radio station’s Kevin Diez, had thoughtful conservation about the state of Dorchester County’s health and its health system as the region comes to the end of two years of COVID-19 hardships.
In our interview, the County’s senior health officer shares current statistics on COVID cases and data regarding the number of those vaccinated in Dorchester. We also talk to Roger about the impact the pandemic has had on the County’s health infrastructure and the stress and demands of its health care workforce. Roger has attempted to predict what 2022 will be like as Dorchester residents seek to return to normal as much as possible.
